A lifetime resident of Pennsylvania Deb has lived in Bucks County, Murrysville, Harrisburg, Scranton and Hershey.  She has two children and three grandchildren.  She was married for 44 years to Roger Endres until his death in 2018.

Deb received a degree in education from Penn State University with a concentration in Urban Education.  She taught in Harrisburg City Schools for several years.  Her family relocated to the Scranton area where she worked for the Pennsylvania State Migrant Education Program.

At this point she became very interested in human cognition and the functioning of the human brain.  She became a student at Marywood College, now Marywood University.  She received a Masters of Science in Human Cognition and Special Education.

In 1991 her family relocated again to Western Pennsylvania.  She began working in brain injury rehabilitation and earned certification as a Brain Injury Specialist.  At this time she was asked by the Pa Office of Vocational Rehabilitation to develop a program to help individuals with cognitive weaknesses to increase self awareness and develop strategies to improve vocational functioning.

This program became a part of the University of Pittsburgh's program with The Hiram G Andrews Center in Johnstown Pa.  Deb became an instructor for the University and worked closely with the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology.  The Cognitive Skills Enhancement Program continues at HGA today.
